God’s Helping Hand #16

Christian greetings everyone! How is your new year going? We have had a few milder days here, but winters back today for sure!

Thank you for your replies, Flaviu, Eugene, and Alicia.

Our question was:

A new year is upon us. What would you like to see different in this new year?

Flaviu’s answer is:

What would I like to see different in this year? That is a pretty hard question and to most of us we automatically think of ourselves. We tend to be a little selfish; that's why I want to improve on my giving/sharing anything that I know will help, and most of all God's Word. I want to become more acquainted and closer to GOD to share with Him anything and to have Him as my protector at all times. I think everyone would like world peace. As for me.... I don't wish for that, mainly because the Bible tells us clearly it won't happen and the sooner the troubles come the sooner Jesus comes for his children. So I want to strive to be among the privileged ones to go to heaven and have Jesus around me for eternity.

With that said, stay strong, make promises and more important KEEP THEM and have a happy and blessed new year!

Eugene’s answer is:

I want to see my own life changed much more by my devotional exercises than it has in the past. For that to happen, I must find a way to share what I learn each morning so that I will remember it. And I must choose to remember and share practical things so that I can begin doing them. That way I will remember better. But for that to happen, I must be looking for practical things while I am reading, so I have started (last week) taking notes on what I read each morning, and keeping those notes with me for sharing everywhere I go. And I am reviewing those notes each day so that I don't forget to do the practical things.

Alicia’s answer is:

I want to see everyone as a precious child of God, no matter how dirty or mean they are. I pray that my eyes can be opened to that! God bless.

Editor’s Note:

Hmmm, I guess I have to answer my own question, don’t I? J Well, I would like to see a lot of things different. Some are more important than others, though. I want to see myself come closer to Jesus, and represent Him better in my life. I want to see many more souls saved and enter the family of God. I want to learn to play more musical instruments, and learn to play the ones I know, better. I want to learn more of the will of God, so that I can share it better. I also want to be trained in the canvassing work J , and much much more…

The questions for this issue is:

What do you think is the most important work, in this life?

Please send in your answers before or on January 26th so they can be published in the next issue.

Do you have any stories, poems, recipes, prayer requests, etc. that you would like to share?
