Where do you get your strength
When you're sad and feeling down?
When you feel that you've been thrown,
As your life spins 'round and 'round?
Where do you turn for comfort
When you see no end in sight
Of your worries and your fears,
Each concern and every fight?
Who do you ask advice of
When you're simply at wit's end,
And you feel no one around,
To be there as a friend?
Who can ease your pain
When you feel a hurt inside?
And when you feel like talking,
In whom can you confide?
There is Someone who can be
Your strength when you are weak.
When life deals you a crushing blow,
It is Their help you should seek.
There is a comfort you can feel
When you're feeling down--
When you've hit the wall in the race of life,
You let Him lift you from the ground.
When advice is what you need,
Ask of Him and you'll receive
Greater words of wisdom
Than any man could ever give.
When you use the Lord for all these things,
I guarantee you'll find
All the bad things of this life we live
Will be left behind.
